Discover Vilnius Old Town to its fullest in 2,5 hour tour with a local guide. We will take you to all of the main attractions, including the Cathedral and the University, and lead you past hidden corners and courtyards that most foreign travelers tend to miss. Along the way your guide will not only share historical facts, but also fun stories about people who lived here long ago. Vilnius has one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe and we want to show you the very best of it!

Meet your guide at the former Gate of the city where all the guests would stop before entering Vilnius a long time ago. See some parts of the Old Wall left and venture into the Old Town. There you will find one of the most famous attractions in Vilnius – Our Lady of Mercy of the Gate of Dawn. Our guides will help you to understand why this site is so important to the city.

Head down to the Town Hall square admiring some impressive architecture along the way. St. Casimir‘s church welcomes us on the right with its gracious crown on the top of the dome and wind chimes in the bell towers. The church represents the history of Vilnius better than any other.

Just a minute away a triangle Town Hall square invites you to adore the buildings around it. From here we will get a bit serious by visiting the former Jewish ghetto. Find the wounds of the Old Town and learn how much Vilnius changed since the WWII. To cheer you up, we will take you to the most appealing part of the Old Town and visit one courtyard with a captivating statue of a lady sitting on a bear.

Walk down the main street in the Old Town full of locals selling their little souvenirs. The guide will take you to the Literatu street where lots of writers are honored by artists in small pieces of art. Just around the corner one of the most beautiful churches in Vilnius is hiding. Learn why everyone likes St Anne‘s church so much.

After this one highlight after another is waiting for you -  Pilies street, Vilnius University, Presidential palace and at last, the Cathedral square. Admire stunning Neo-classical Cathedral and its surroundings and find the miraculous tile to make your wish come true. We will finish our tour in this magnificent square for your further exploration.
